Preparation

Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven.

Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and peppercorns. Saute for a minute until fragrant.

Add onions, ginger, garlic, green chilies, and curry leaves. Saute until onions turn translucent.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.

Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are lightly browned.

Pour in the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Add coconut milk, lemon juice, and salt. Stir well and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
